"Hi, my name is..."

Diaries are meant to be private.
Which is amazingly difficult when you share a room and live with so many different people.

Journals are meant to be kept daily.
Which is ideal if I had that sense of memory and responsibility.

Blogs are meant to be shared.
& I invite you to join mee in my world.

18 years old. College student. Dreamer. Believer. Achiever.
I like to think I'm your typical  "normal" girl, but who really knows what normal is anymore. I have a group of friends, who are just as "normal" as mee, and who you will get to know along the way. My friends and my family surround mee with more love, pleasure, and support than I could ever ask for.

Music is a huge part of my life. Player of piano, fiddler of violin, beginner of ukelele, and master of iPod. As long as I can remember, I have been playing an instrument. Music does more than delight my senses, it conveys my thoughts and emotions. Concerts, bands, playlist ideas, and more constantly occupy part of my brain. I gladly wear the term "concert whore," with the pictures, tickets, autographs, and merch to prove it.

Art is another thing I can't live without too. Yeah, well isn't music art? I know music is art, but for mee art is a creative extension of oneself. Music is an art, but not for mee because I can't even pretend to claim that I can write songs or make my own music. I create art through my own photography, makeup,   and various crafts. Sometimes it's pretty... sometimes it's not. Either way, I always like it. Whether or not others do, well that's their choice.

However, being a college student means attempting to learn more, in order to establish myself and hopefully get a job. In other words, this means I live for the weekends and summer can never come sooner. Blogging is my escape, but we all know that escape doesn't always come easily... and frequently enough.

I'm really just a small girl trying to get through life and find meaning in this world, like you.

After all its a big world, and I'm just trying to be mee, Minnie Mee.
